New interactive map for public entity insights

We've just launched an interactive map that provides a new perspective on your prospects and their tendering activities.

In the market analysis section, you can now explore a map showcasing all public entities in Belgium.

Here’s what you’ll find:

• Comprehensive public entity details: Click on any point to view contact information for each public entity.
• Actionable insights: Discover relevant tenders passed by public entities in your industry and access these tenders with a single click.
• Advanced filtering options: Quickly search and filter by public entity type or region to find the data that matters most to you.
• List view available: Prefer a list format? Easily switch between map and list views to access the same information in the layout that works best for you.

This tool is an invaluable resource for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of the public procurement landscape. It also helps you uncover public entities that may not yet have associated tenders or opportunities, giving you a chance to explore even further in your search for hidden opportunities.

Save your filters

You can now save your filters for both tenders and opportunities.

This feature allows you to customize and save filter settings—such as region, language, tag, and more—so you can quickly focus on the tenders and opportunities that matter most to you.

Customize your workflow with new statuses and tags

We now offer the ability to add custom statuses and tags to both opportunities and tenders.

Statuses: Every company has its own unique process for managing tenders. To better align with your specific workflow, you can now create and customize statuses that reflect the different stages of your process. This allows you to easily track the status of any tender at a glance.

Tags: Tags function similarly to statuses but with a broader application. Whether you need to assign a tender to a team member, categorize it by department, associate it with a specific theme, or develop your own system, tags provide the flexibility to manage your process in the way that suits you best.

You can create or edit your statuses and tags in your settings.

Once created, these tags and statuses can be directly assigned to any opportunity or tender. Additionally, make the most of the filtering options to focus on the opportunities and tenders that are most relevant to you.

Our settings page has been revamped to provide a clearer, more intuitive experience.

Each feature is now presented in its own dedicated section, allowing you to add or modify elements with ease. This update paves the way for introducing customizable features to your Sonaar app 😏

New filtering system

We’re excited to introduce a new and more intuitive filtering system to enhance your experience:

• Search bar: Quickly find all tenders and opportunities through the public entity or title.
• Opportunities filters: You can now filter opportunities by Region(s), Language(s), and Amount(s). Additionally, there’s an option to display only opportunities with a high likelihood of occurrence.
• Tenders filters: Tenders can now be filtered by Region(s) and Language(s) for more precise results.
• Tender status: Instead of having three menu sections for ongoing, closed and awarded tenders, we’ve added a dedicated column to indicate the status of each tender, making it easier to navigate through them all at once.

Pre-tenders become opportunities

The concept of pre-tenders has evolved into opportunities.

We made this change to capture a broader range of future tender forecasts.

Opportunities are now classified into three levels of likelihood:

• “Certain” for opportunities confirmed by the public entity
• “Likely” for opportunities predicted by our algorithm with a high probability of occuring
• “Hint” for opportunities predicted by our algorithm based on weaker signals
