Launched just a few months ago, Sonaar is a startup born of a desire to make public procurement easy and fair for everyone. With the experience gained from participating in hundreds of public contracts, we are on a bold journey to address common challenges faced by companies of all sizes, empowering them to win more bids.
Our experience has taught us two important insights regarding the tendering process:
1/ Proactivity is key - Our experience shows that waiting to bid on a contract until after its official publication significantly lowers a company's winning odds. Acting well before the specifications are published is crucial, ensuring that you're well-prepared to align with the needs of public prospects.
2/ Partial public information - A substantial portion of tender information never makes it to the public domain. Contracts that fall below legal thresholds aren’t publicized until awarded, leaving an estimated 70% of public market data undisclosed. Today, capturing these hidden opportunities is challenging; it essentially requires an army of sales to do so.
To address this, we are designing a tool that empowers companies to be proactive, equipping them with crucial market information ahead of time by harnessing thousands of data sources and collaborating with public entities. Essentially, we want to ensure our clients that no potential market goes unnoticed.
We already have 12 founding partners paying for our solution, and are actively working on building our MVP and rollout. We know that 2024 will be a key year for the launch of the company, and we're looking forward to seeing this project grow.
